Hawk
We have a hawk that visits every now and then. This picture was taken right in our front yard. A.J. (get it?) let me get pretty close to him. He was eating a mouse. Cool bird.
I believe it's a sharp-shinned hawk. We get them in our yard down the block as well. My neighbor works for the Zoo in the bird house and her yard is set up very nicely to attract all sorts of birds. Then these birds attract bigger birds like this one and I get to watch the cycle of bird eat bird. Yes, very cool.
