First he was. Then, he wasn't. Now, he might be. I would love to see Aaron Rodger wear the #4 jersey this season.
Here's one of the dumbest editorials I read about the Carrie Prejean ordeal:
Miss Cali: Pretty Until She Opens Her Mouth
You know what's offensive? Perez Hilton judging a women's beauty contest. If this retard is so concerned about tolerance, why isn't she upset that the question was asked in the first place?
Kris stays, but Allison goes home. One reason Allison got booted is that she isn't a fake boobed blond skank, luring the vote of the horny boys. I'm sure Kris' fan base of JoBro'd preens is rather large, and the reason he's moved on. I think Allison is a babe. She's not Britney . . . thank god. She has real talent. I'm sure we'll hear more from her in the future. Still, it's a shame.
Pelotox is a liar.
Now that Doyle has raised every fee and tax he can, without saying he did, why doesn't he just spend more, like Obama, to fix the State budget?
Speaking of Obama . . . while his budget trimming is akin to pissing in the ocean, he still is trimming. And, I'll give him credit for that. What's interesting, of course, is what he's trimming and the backlash he may suffer as a result.
My heart goes out to those in California dealing with the wild fires.
Somebody help me. Why does Obama continue to hold town hall meetings?
We're allowed to rip a CD and put it on our iPods. But we can't rip a DVD to do the same . . . according to copyright laws. RealNetworks is fighting the fair use battle in court trying to defend their software which allows one to rip a DVD for personal use. This battle has been going on since the VCR came along. Real may ultimately lose, and that will be a shame, but it shows how out of touch hollywood execs are. There will always be a method to rip a DVD. Hollywood would be better off embracing the technology than trying to make criminals of those who actually buy DVD's and want it on their iPod.
Speaking of movies . . . I watched Gran Torino finally. Uh, might I be the only one who thought this wasn't that good? I liked the story, but the movie, I thought, was poorly directed and poorly acted. Not sure what the big hype was all about.
Happy Friday!

Quick hits for a Saturday
The more and more we learn about the "Stimulus" plan, the more we find out it's simply a "Thanks for your support" payback. Only 11% of the bill goes toward any actual plans to create jobs and stimulate the economy. What's more, much of that 11% won't take affect for years. What's even more, the money paid out to states will simply mean spending plans that will have no source of funding unless they get another "bailout" or . . . yep, raise taxes. It's insanity.
Obama wants transparency and accountability in business and government. Well, everyone except in Washington, I guess. Does anyone in Washington pay taxes? Or are they all that stupid?
On a similar note . . . I don't know about anyone else, but I could find my mortgage papers in under a minute. Unless I were in China. Then it would take me the time of the flight, the ride home, plus a minute to find them.
I find it funny Obama would call the billions of dollars paid out as bonuses to Wall Street Execs, "shameful". Yet, turns around and tries to call his massive spending and payback plan an economic stimulus.
I wondered how long it would be before Patti Blagojevich left her ex-governor husband. Turns out, she's no innocent either.
Lee Holloway figures the state is in so much debt, what's another few thousand dollars? The slumlord blamed Scott Walker for leaking information about the trip that supervisors Coggs and Clark took to Washington to the newspaper. The trip coincided with the inauguration. Hmm. The trip was also paid for by taxpayer dollars. The supervisors claim the trip was for legitimate purposes. Though, there's evidence that says otherwise. In a letter sent to Scott Walker by Lee Holloway he not only accuses Walker of leaking the information, but then signs the letter "Lee" and draws a smiley face on it.
Up the meds, Lee.
Superbowl prediction: Cardinals 24, Pittsburgh 21.
Nany Pelosi thinks spending money on contraceptives will help the economy. She also doesn't know natural gas is a fossil fuel. She also says that increasing taxes on the wealthy isn't a tax increase. She also believes in the botox fairy and carries around a Bush voodoo doll.
But, Palin is the idiot.
The only device we need is an anal dam to keep the government from f*ckin' us in the ass.
Speaking of idiots . . . Jessica Alba says she ain't one. She told a reporter at the inauguration to "be neutral about it . . . be Sweden." She rests her case.
And Paris Hilton says she's not stupid, she just plays an idiot on TV.
This coming from a skank who thought Gordon Ramsey was the prime minister. She also rests her case.

"I just do little jokes all the time but people think I'm serious, which I think is funny. And I think I kind of play up the image sometimes because, (eyes go blank) whatever, it's just entertainment."

Quick hits
Haven't blogged for a bit. Not intentionally, or anything. Just haven't had much time or much to say.
I shouldn't tweet late, late at night after I've taken an ambien. I'm certain I've tweeted some really stupid stuff. Sorry.
I was going to post about the Golden Globe fashions, but life events got in the way. I'll say this . . . Salma Hayek . . . zow! Rene Zellweger . . . WTF? Beyonce . . . wear a dress that fits. Maggie Gyllenhaal . . . ugly. So, was her dress. Kate Winslet . . . eat a burger and get over yourself. Kate Beckensale . . . I hate that ruffly stuff around the neckline. Eva Mendes . . . your dress has a tumor, cut it off! Jen Lopez . . . who cares? Maxim's hottest woman in the world Megan Fox . . . skank. Laura Linney . . . always beautiful. Jennifer Morrison . . . beautiful. Though, the thing about many strapless dresses is that they don't offer up much in the way of cleavage. Anne Hathaway looked beautiful, but her dress needed straps. Drew Barrymore . . . I don't know. I kinda liked her look. Elizabeth Banks looked gorgeous. I could go on . . .
Shortly after reading about Milwaukee's anti-idling ordinance, I read that they won't enforce it in the cold weather. And will even dismiss a few citations that were written. A smart decision for once!
If you want to see a really interesting reality show, watch Solitary 3.0 on Fox Reality. 9 people subject themselves to a small isolation chamber and undergo various tasks and challenges. They're physically, mentally, and emotionally put to the test. It's rather interesting.
Packers still haven't found a defensive coordinator. Dom Capers is the latest name, but no decision yet. Seems as though they're looking for a quality name. That's good. Also, Julius Peppers becomes available at the end of February. Should the Packers go after him? Personally, I think the Packers need someone in the middle. A Gilbert Brown type. They'll get Jenkins back next season. For me, he and Kampman fill the ends up nicely. I really don't think the NEED Peppers.
As for the playoffs, I'm hoping the Cardinals and the Ravens win. Should the Card's win the Superbowl, Warner would become one of very few QB's to win a Superbowl with a different team.
Everyone has talked about it, so I really don't have much to add. Simply add me to the list of those who think Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger III is a true hero. Just an amazing feat. Miraculous that no one died.
Madoff claims another celebrity. Kevin Bacon says he "lost his shirt" to Madoff and needs to find work. I'm still not sure why this guy isn't in jail.
Ann Coulter has been out making friends. She's a riot.
All for now.
