Speed Racer crashes and burns

Seriously, did anyone watch the trailer to this movie and think, "Wow! I've gotta see that!"? Apparently, Warner Bros can't believe more people didn't think that and may have trumped their numbers to claim a number two spot for a weekend open gross.

This, by the brothers that gave us The Matrix. But, it seems to fit:

The Matrix - great movie.

Matrix 2 - not so good.

Matrix 3 - (I quote from Love Actually) A festering turd.

Speed Racer - churned bile and other matter.
