Lefty Lies

So, in spite of my present disgust of Bush, McCain, and the rest of the party, this in no way lets Obama or the lefties off the hook.

Where is the McCain truth squad with regard to the radio spot on stem cell research and Roe vs Wade?

Blatant lies.

Lose - Lose on the bail out

Lies and bribes. That's essentially what the new new version of the bailout is. Lies and bribes.

We've got politicians telling us that leading economists are urging government to take action. Not true.

What's more, there's still a good amount of public opposition to the bailout plan though the numbers have cooled. Opinions are split evenly 33-33-33 approximately.

Worse, though, are the bribes. Over 100 billion in pork spending used as bribes to get an already ill conceived plan passed through. It's disgusting.

This is the first time I've really been disappointed with Bush. As a conservative, he should oppose this and come up with a better plan. It's not really up to him, though. The bribery going on in the Senate is, to me, borderline treason. Certainly moronic, and, at least, irresponsible. How they can CHEER their "bipartisan victory" is beyond me.

The absolute worst thing, though . . . where's Mr. No Earmarks? Huuuuuh? How did Mr. No Earmarks For Me vote? For the bailout. Incredible. Incredulous. I'm beyond perplexed.

Once again, the liberal view is one of lies, double talk, hypocrisy, and non-reality. Obama can say whatever he wants and the lemmings will lap it up like dogs to food spilled from a dinner table.

I need to see what happens next. In light of Sarah's spectacular debate performance, I find myself in a tough spot. I'll never vote for Obama, and I'll likely vote for McCain. But, he's just made that a more difficult arrow to fill in with his vote.

McCain may lose the election as a result of his vote. I don't see how he can talk his way out of this.

Beating Stem Cells

Not only is the Obama ad about McCain's stance on stem cell research a ginormous lie, it seems an odd issue to bring up. After all, there have been virtually no advances in the area of ECSR. Partially because of abilities to make other cells act like embryonic cells, and all the advances being made in the area of adult stem cell research.

But, it's a way to scare people. So, the libs do it. Doesn't matter that it's a lie, or practically a moot issue . . . just throw it out there, lie, and make it seem like McCain is standing in the way of diabetes cure . . . and whatever else.

Problem is, if Obama is vying for the southern states, then he's not doing himself any favors. People are against therapeutic cloning as much as they are abortion. So, he's knocking on the wrong doors.

Sarah Palin and Babygate

First, there were a few who questioned McCain's timing of the announcement of his VP. Clearly, they didn't realize it was going to be Sarah Palin. The news couldn't have taken the wind out of Nobama's sail any better. It was perfect.

As for babygate, I found this:

Risks Of Reporting Rumor As News About Sarah Palin's Baby Trig and Daughter Bristol

One would think this wouldn't be difficult to prove. What the assbags at the Kos don't realize is that they're actually going to make it easier for McCain.

Cheats, liars, and scumbags. Your far left libtard.

Britney, Paris, . . . Obama?

OK. On the one hand, I love the video. Without saying so it compares NObama to the two vacants that are so popular, yet offer little in the way of talent. Perfect.

But, it should have been a non-McCain related viral video. If this is really a clip from the McCain campaign, then I don't like it. It could have worked without the two skanks in it and, for me, was rather off putting.

I don't think any negative reaction will have legs, and it's fun to listen to reaction, but it wasn't a good idea.

Well, now . . .

From USAToday:

Obama was ahead 47%-44% among registered voters, down from a 6-percentage point lead he had last month. McCain led 49%-45% among likely voters, reversing a 5-point Obama lead among that group. In both cases, the margin of error is +/—4 points.

the whole article is here.

The one thing about NObama's trip . . . the public has a short memory for these things. That and the trip didn't shore up anything for anyone anyway. Except that he's all about the photo op. His not visiting the wounded soldiers will likely have a little more staying power than anything else that came out of the trip . . . which was nothing, really.

There's still plenty of time for NObama to stick is foot in his mouth. . . repeatedly.

Huh. I thought Obama won

Obama may have won the nomination, but if previous Hillary supporter's have their way, he won't win the election. They're going so far as to throw their support behind McCain:

Angry Clinton Supporters Start Rallying for McCain Online

This seems like a big deal to me. In light of the fact that neither Hillary or Obama is able to get a better than 50% margin, these past supporters for Hillary could factor heavily in the race.

Go Hillary!

What did I say?

I realize I'm often behind on the headlines, but no sooner did I post my rant about the press and this article comes to my attention:

For McCain, Self-Confidence on Ethics Poses Its Own Risk

A few bloggers have brought it up and written opinions on this. For me, it ties in well with what I've already said. The press lacks any integrity it may have had at one time. Old news, no proof, no reason to run a story like this at all.

But, it could end up to be more mud on the face of the Times should this backlash on them. Again, while I don't know for sure, the accusations made are unfounded.

No games . . . just vote

I know there are strategies out there in which to vote. The strongest opinion seems to be to vote for Shrillary even as a republican, to give her whatever edge she can over Obama. Obama is viewed as our worst enemy though our most powerful one. It's thought that Shrillary can be defeated . . . Obamathon cannot.

Well, I can't. First, it would cause me nightmares to draw that line on the ballot. I just can't. More than that, though, whatever power Shrillary has in terms of the "Clinton Machine", I don't want to add to it. She's starting to pull out the concealed weapons, so to speak, to try and muscle her way in for the democratic nomination. I don't trust her. Whatever she can do in the primary, she can do in the general election. She should be very beatable. But, she's not. Plus, McCain is not that electable, though he should be.

Anyway, I'm going to vote for McCain and not play any of the games out there. Back who I believe in and be done with it.
